Crowns

A crown is a restorative procedure that is used to reestablish the integrity of a tooth damaged by decay or trauma by encasing the entire tooth above the gumline in a protective restoration. Additionally, it has the benefit of restoring the esthetic appearance of the tooth.

How long does it take to fit a dental crown?

Fitting a crown requires at least 2 visits to our office. Initially, we will removed decay, shape the tooth, and fit it with a temporary crown.

On the following visit, we will removed the temporary crown and adjust and fit the final crown. Finally, we will cement the crown into place and you have a new beautiful looking tooth.
